Kapolei City Lights - West Oahu Electric Light Parade

This Saturday, December 10th. Kapolei High School will be the starting point of the West Oahu Electric Light Parade!

Parade starts at 6pm. Tree Lighting Ceremony at Kapolei Hale around 7pm or after the Parade is over.

Lane closures on Fort Barrette begin at 2pm, and 4pm for Kapolei Parkway. The event is expected to have 25 vehicles, 3 floats & 4 bands. It will start at Fort Barrette/Kapolei Parkway, west on Kapolei Parkway (mauka side), to end at Kealakapu St. One (1) lane will be contraflowed on Kapolei Parkway for west bound traffic from Ft Barrette to Kinioki St. Staging area for the parade will be at the gym parking lot. Public parking available to the public in the front parking lots.

Entertainment at Kapolei Hale includes Sean Na'auao, Kaiao, Ahi Wela, Brown Bags to Stardom winners, hula halau, and other entertainers.

Event Schedule:
4 p.m. - Food trucks and vendors open
4 p.m. - Kapolei Hale tree and wreath exhibit
5 p.m. - Entertainment begins and continues through 9 p.m.
6 p.m. - Parade begins
7 p.m. - Tree lighting ceremony

UH West Oahu Application Intake for Seniors Only!!

UH West Oahu Admissions Counselor will be helping students apply online. He will waive the $50 application fee if you come to G208 between 9 and 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 8th. Memorize your social security number.

ASVAB Interpretation

If you took the ASVAB test on November 15th please come to G208 on Monday, December 5th and have your scores explained by an expert. You will receive a hard copy of your scores at that time.

Graduation Cap & Gown, Announcements

Attention Seniors! You will need to add $20.00 late fee starting 12/01 for online orders and postmarked mail-in orders for your cap and gown orders as well as any other accessories needed from Balfour. Time is ticking!

Drivers Education Registration

Driver's Ed sessions for Kapolei high school's current school year 2016-2017 are completely filled, including the summer session. On-line registration is temporarily halted but will recommence July 1st and remain open until all school year 2017-2018 sessions are filled. A schedule of next year's sessions will be posted at the time and students are first come first serve basis.

Senior Saving Package

Aloha Seniors,
Your Senior Saving Package is coming to an end if you have a balance due or still have not taken advantage of this AWESOME DEAL! Please do so by Monday October 31. Stop by the front office(Auntie Joyce), I-down (Kumu), or Gym (Mr. Cossey) to save today.

9th Grade PSAT

9th Graders ONLY. Come and get a permission slip to take the PSAT. The test will be administered on Saturday, December 10th in G Bldg from 7:45 to 12:00. Permission slips need to be returned signed by your parents or guardians by November 30th to G208. There is a $10 seat reservation fee that is refundable if you take the test.

Hurricane Cheerleaders State Competition

It's History in the making! It's been 6 years since they've made it to States!
Come out and support our Hurricane JV & Varsity Cheerleaders in the HHSAA Cheerleading Championships this Saturday, November 19th from 12pm-4pm @ the Blaisdell Center Arena. Go Hurricanes!!!

HHSAA State D1 Football Playoffs
