School-Wide Testing, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 8am - 1pm Kapolei High School is pleased to announce that we will be administering the ACT College and Career Readiness System on a statewide basis for School Year 2014-2015 that consists of the following assessments:
EXPLORE for all grade 9 students
PLAN for all grade 10 students and
ACT for all grade 11 students
Foodland Shop for Higher Education Program Kapolei High Schools (Code 7546)

Foodland Shop for Higher Education Program Kapolei High Schools (Code 7546) Help our school earn scholarships! Beginning February 4, show your Maka'i Card to any Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms cashier and give them our school code (7546). For every dollar you spend, you'll earn one Maka'i point for yourself plus another point for our school. This program will run for six weeks and the top schools with the most points will qualify for student scholarships.

HHSAA Swimming Champion Congratulation's to Leilani Herrera 2015 HHSAA Girls 100yards Swimming Back Stroke Champion and 2nd place 100 yard Breast Stroke.
Kapolei Varsity Wrestling Team OIA Dual Champions

Kapolei Varsity Wrestling Team OIA Dual Champions The varsity boys team won their first ever OIA dual meet Championship this past weekend beating Kahuku 70-0 in the semifinals and then Campbell 37-22 in the finals.
Kapolei JV Girls and JV Boys OIA Wrestling Results

Kapolei JV Girls and JV Boys OIA Wrestling Results The girls JV wrestling team won the JV Championships and had a 10-0 team record this past weekend with champions Alyandina Bushe and Tiana Peterson. Shivahn Akau and Kapua Tangaro finished 2nd. Rava Tehotu got 3rd, Teura Keliiholokai earned 4th, and Ariana Molina finished in 5th.
The boys JV finished 5th overall and had a 9-1 team record with Champions Aaron Sotoa, Akoni Kapihe, and Jon Kansana. Jacob Yamaguchi finished 4th, Shyston Saragosa, Garrett Smeltzer, Elise Tafao, earned 6th and Gianni Oyadomari finished 7th in the OIA.
Please congratulate all of the JV wrestlers on a successful season.

JOIN US on March 14, 2015 - PONO KAPOLEI FUN RUN!! A 5K run, which START at 8:00a.m. from UH West Oahu Campus to Farrington Highway, Kualaka’i Parkway to Kapolei Parkway, and FINISH at Kapolei High School Stadium! Thereafter, Keiki Wellness Fair begins (sponsored by Rep. Sharon Har), and keiki activities (brought & hosted by Xtreme Fun Rides & Kapolei Middle School).

9:00 am at Kapolei High School Cafeteria
Students must bring a current drivers permit and a parent or legal guardian
Selection will be by lottery, 32 positions are available
Selected students along with their parents or legal guardian will remain for a 45 minute orientation meeting
Classes will begin Monday, March 22 and continue for 17 school days
Cost is $10

EMERGENCY LOCKDOWN Jan 14 - ALL CLEAR as of 1:40PM Wednesday, January 14, 2015 approximately 12:35pm Kapolei High School was placed under a lockdown after a anonymous phone call was received threatening the safety of the campus. As a precautionary measure to a bomb threat Kapolei High School was placed under the lockdown til about 1:40pm.
